Experience the bliss of inner silence

It is rare to experience true silence within, where the mind is calm, serene, and empty of thoughts. Much of daily life is spent thinking, daydreaming, and carrying out mental tasks; even when the mind is not actively in use, there is still a constant stream of mental activity, which often escapes notice.

There are numerous techniques - such as the ancient practice of koans - that can be used to bring the mind to stillness. These are forms of meditation, allowing you to explore inwards, into the deepest regions of the mind, exhausting thought and bringing inner silence.

In this state, with the mind emptied of all thoughts, you are able to gain insightful and life-changing experiences. A silent mind allows the spiritual essence within to be liberated, causing you to experience freedom and spiritual bliss. The understanding and knowledge gained from these experiences has a lasting and profound effect.

The practice of meditation has given me these moments of inner tranquility - blissful holidays away from the compulsive barrage of thoughts pervading my mind. Keep Reading

Listening with the Heart
Several years ago, when I was 16 years old, I began to feel a great pain and suffering within for so many reasons. I didn’t know what it was all about. I went to the doctor several times to find out what these mysterious pains were, with no results. I tried exhaustive sports for many years to relieve this suffering, without solving the problem. I drank alcohol to turn down the mental pressure that was incessantly attacking me. It worked for a moment; I could finally smile again, but as soon as the effects had vanished, I was the same again. A Silent Connection
When doing meditation practices, I often learn a lot about my mind. I see how it works and how thoughts work. Many times I get to a point where my mind goes completely silent for a moment. It is a very nice, very peaceful feeling, but most times it doesn't last too long before another thought comes in. Keep Reading
