Retrospection
Discover the value of reflection

Each day goes by as a stream of sights, sounds, events, interactions, and countless different scenarios. Each moment in time can provide a valuable learning opportunity by examining the thoughts, emotions and inner reactions of the day. But these usually go unnoticed and opportunities can be lost as time quickly passes and the next scene in life arises.
The technique of retrospection allows you to be a spectator of your own life, reviewing past scenarios in vivid detail as if they were a film, observing actions and inner responses in a detached way. In reflection, it is possible to see things more clearly, to uncover mistakes and to see thoughts, feelings and actions in a more objective way.
With retrospection, you can look back over a day, a month, a year or even an entire lifetime, taking you back to the earliest days of your childhood.
It is a powerful tool for exploring the events of life in greater depth and provides insights into the psyche that can be used in a practical way for inner change.

Finding my Umbrella

So, I decided to try a retrospection to see if the practice could help me find the answer to my question: “where is my umbrella?” Keep Reading
Self Discovery in the Workplace
I have seen that interacting with people in my working environment makes me feel and act in various ways, whether good, bad, or even confused sometimes.
I work for a company and every day I have to speak with many people. Some time ago when I was talking with a client about a financial arrangement, I caught myself giving him an offer which was much more attractive than it should have been and was out of the desired framework of the company. The truth is that I didn’t realize why I did that thing, since there wasn’t any obvious reason and my client would have been satisfied with a less attractive offer. Something like that could have had a bad impact on my job. Keep Reading
