Mount Taygetos, Sparta, Greece

June 2006

This year the retreat took place at the same place as the previous one, on Mount Taygetos in a beautiful little village called Anavriti, next to Sparta, about 900m above sea level. Thirteen students who had completed the Gnostic Wisdom course attended the retreat over five days. The focus of the retreat was to learn how to use every single moment to gain self-knowledge, and to discover more about ourselves. To do this, we investigated awareness and worked on improving the way we approached our astral practices, with the aim of consistently improving everything we did... Keep reading

The Bunya Mountains Meditation Retreat held in Queensland, Australia was the largest international retreat that has been held to date with forty-three students and teachers coming from many different parts of Australia and from as far as Malaysia, Norway, Canada and the USA. Having a group of this size was certainly a highlight of this retreat as it brought strength to our goals, a sense of unity amongst all who participated and gave rise to many new friendships... The second International Retreat, held in Greece, had twenty participants and was run by the author of the courses, Belzebuub, and his wife Edith.
