American Retreat Project

Traditionally, these gatherings take place at public retreat centers which have the necessary facilities to host large groups.  As our gatherings have grown over the years, so have the costs.  Imagine, at the recent 2009 North American retreat we spent over $20,000 for 4 full days of using a retreat facility.  $20,000 for 4 days of incredible spiritual growth and practice is certainly worth it, but when all is said and done, we are left without funds to use towards recreating this experience.  If you consider the past 5 years of retreats held in the U.S. alone, and the next 5 years of projected retreats, the sum of money spent quickly amounts to hundreds of thousands of dollars.

Rather than giving this money away to other venues, the time has come for us to funnel this energy inwards - after all, we know that the most amazing things in life come from within!
